Retail Operations Expert Wanted in Miami!

The Retail Operations Expert will be responsible for creating strong partnerships with store management teams and functional groups to create regional alignment, standardization of store operational processes and procedures resulting in improved efficiencies, effective sales support and a luxury client experience. This individual will gain comprehensive insight into our operations and actively engage in monitoring the effectiveness of our underlying controls.

The Retail Operations Expert reports to the Retail Excellence Manager and will be based out of our Miami office.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Lead the development and implementation of the Store Operations Manual
  • Partner with appropriate business leaders to update and modify business controls and utilize new systems when necessary (i.e., HQ Retail Operations, Logistics, Finance, Security, Risk & Loss Prevention, etc.)Identify opportunities for business process improvements to maximize resources in store and achieve alignment with Company strategies. Provide feedback and suggestions through established procedures.
  • Ensure continuous training addressing operational questions or concerns on policies/procedures.
  • Conduct regular store visits for to ensure alignment with policies and procedures, identify operational control weaknesses, and recommend corrective measures.
  • To a limited extent, participate in assessing internal control effectiveness; conduct periodic physical inventory counts to oversee cycle count adequacy, collaborate with key stakeholders (Customer Service, Logistics, Sales Operations, etc.) to pinpoint reasons for inventory discrepancies, and implement necessary controls to address gaps.
  • Facilitate and ensure follow-up on remedial actions with business leaders.
  • Define most efficient requirements & procedure for each opening in due time. Ensure efficiencies and relevancy (right calibration) of means deployed for each location and provide alternative if necessary.
  • Formalize all US specific criteria to run retail activity from location to exploitation (mapping of critical criteria for decision making) in partnership with HQ Retail Operations and FP&A

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of retail experience, preferably in luxury retail
  • Background in internal controls and/or business analytics
  • Hands-on experience in boutique operations
  • Proficient in retail systems, including POS and CRM Tools
  • Strong attention to detail with solid organization skills and proven ability to multi-task
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexibility to travel as required.
